14 S1 K3 FKM Undip Students Join Students Go International in Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, August 28, 2025 – A total of 14 students of the Bachelor Degree of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) Study Program, Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Diponegoro participated in the Students Go International activity through the 11th International Public Health Conference and the 28th National Public Health Colloquium. The event was organised by Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and took place at Corus Hotel KLCC, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 26-27 August 2025.

This international conference began with a Keynote Address by Prof. Datuk Dr. Lokman Hakim Sulaiman, Deputy Vice Chancellor for Research and Professor of Public Health from the International Medical University. The session continued with a Plenary Talk which presented two international academic speakers, namely Assoc. Prof. Dr. Amrizal Muhammad Nur from Universiti Brunei Darussalam and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Julia Morgan from the University of Greenwich London, who discussed current issues in the field of global public health. After that, the participants participated in various symposiums divided into four main areas, namely: Occupational Health, Environment & Epidemiology, Health Management & Family Health, and Health Promotion & Company Talk.

S1 K3 FKM Undip students actively participated in this scientific forum by presenting their academic work, consisting of two poster titles and one oral presentation. This participation not only provides an opportunity for students to hone their scientific skills, but also expands academic networks with researchers and practitioners from different countries. The activity was closed with the announcement of awards for the best oral presenters and posters, followed by a Closing Ceremony that emphasized the importance of international collaboration in improving the quality of public health research and practice. The participation of S1 K3 FKM Undip students in this conference is a tangible manifestation of the study program’s commitment to encourage students to take part at the global level. Through this experience, students are expected to be able to expand their horizons, increase their scientific capacity, and bring the university to compete in international level.
